Locked

What Locked is

Locked connects students across different high schools. On any single campus, opportunities, events, and support tend to stay siloed. The kid two schools over doesn't hear about the internship your school found, and vice versa. Locked exists to break that down: one platform, one shared set of standards, run locally by students who actually know their own school.

Chapter-based

A chapter is Locked's presence at one school, run by students, for students at that school. Every chapter operates under the same shared guidelines so the experience feels consistent from school to school, even though each one is led locally.

Safety by design

There's no open sign-up and no direct messaging. Joining a chapter is a two-step gate, all communication happens in moderated chapter feeds, and profiles never leave Locked. Yours is visible to your own chapter unless you open it to every member or make it private, and your last name and email are never shown.

Hours that hold up

Volunteer hours are approval-based throughout, no auto-granted hours, no gaming through spam. Every hour logged has a paper trail: who submitted it, who approved it, what the activity was, and a named adult sign-off on larger claims.

Student-led

Locked was founded by students, and it's run by students. Chapter leaders and club officers do the real work of vetting members, moderating content, and approving hours, with adults in supporting advisor roles.
